Sherbet Colors #60card60days

Standard

Our local group of demonstrators has color challenges and card layout challenges. This week the challenge was Flirty Flamingo, Watermelon Wonder, Peekaboo Peach, and Calypso Coral. The colors remind me of a nice, cool bowl of sherbet.

I heat embossed the images on watercolor paper, then used an aqua painter to put a water color wash over the embossed images. I started with Peekaboo Peach at the bottom, then worked up from lighter to darker colors: Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral, then Watermelon Wonder at the top. Once the paper dries, gently wipe across it with a tissue to clean the ink off the white embossed areas. The bottom card uses the Balloon Adventure set from the 2017 Spring Occasions catalog and the top balloon card uses Balloon Celebration set from the Annual catalog. I love the font of the thank you card from the So Very Much set in the Sale-A-bration brochure.
